I always love browsing Deviant Art.

I loved looking at the beautiful photography and finding one that really stands out to me and using it as my muse… creating a story around it.

I was always jealous of photographers. The ability to capture something in still-life forever is something anyone can do, but to capture the prefect moment… where the colours mold perfectly into another, and the lighting dancing off just the right places… that is a skill I will never have.

I wish I was an artist.
But I am not one by any means. I always wish I could contribute something to the world of the arts - the world I love so much yet remain just outside.

I can’t draw, paint or create. I can’t capture or manipulate.
I can’t masquerade as another. I can’t let myself go and fly. I don’t lose all inhibitions.
I can’t write lyrical master-pieces, or create music through my finger tips.

All I have is a cheap pen, a blank-paged notebook, and my thoughts.
